Product Description
The Herb Garden is a video and lesson plan to investigate the maths involved when designing a herb garden. There are four areas of focus for the child:
- To help children to decide what calculations are needed to solve a problem
- To help children to learn to use estimation and trial and improvement methods in their work
- To help children to think for themselves and to focus upon problem-solving strategies
- To promote using and applying of mathematics
